A little help, whenever you need it.

Start with your people

Sign in by email, choose your display name in Settings, then create a group with one fixed currency. Add placeholders for friends who do not have an account yet. Placeholders can pay and share expenses immediately.

Add a shared expense

Enter a description, amount, date and payer. Select the people who shared it. Choose an equal split or individual amounts, check the preview, then save. Owners can manage every expense; other members can change their own entries. Removed entries stay in the activity history and can be restored.

Invite someone securely

Group owners create invitations in People. To claim a placeholder, bind the invitation to the recipient’s email address. The person must sign in with that verified email. General links create a new participant and cannot claim another person’s identity. Links expire in seven days, are single-use, and can be revoked.

Get all square

Balances show who owes and who gets money back. Follow the suggestions and pay outside Tablumo. Then record the repayment to update your ledger. Tablumo never transfers money. Participants must have a zero balance to leave or be removed; the owner can archive the group.

Connect Tablumo to ChatGPT

  1. During private testing, enable developer mode in your ChatGPT account, where available.
  2. Add a custom MCP connection using the HTTPS endpoint supplied by the operator.
  3. Connect your account, sign in on Tablumo, and review the consent screen. Return to ChatGPT after approval.
  4. Open Tablumo from the sidebar where supported, or ask “Open my Tablumo groups.” The full app supports groups, expenses, balances, people and settings.

Example: “Anna paid 60 EUR for dinner in our Lisbon group. Split it equally between Anna, Alex and Ben.” ChatGPT uses the same exact server calculations as the app.

If your host does not offer the sidebar or fullscreen mode, use the inline app view. Connection availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings. The app has not yet been submitted to the directory.

Manage access

Use Settings to revoke connected application access. If ChatGPT reports an expired connection, reconnect and approve access again. Revocation stops future access but does not delete your Tablumo data.

Delete your account

Open Settings and choose “Review account deletion”. Sign in again if prompted, read the consequences and type DELETE to confirm. Shared amounts remain for other members under “Deleted person”. Account deletion does not settle outstanding balances. You can also contact us for access, export, correction or further erasure requests.
